Caritasverband Paderborn e.V. Advice for Adult Immigrants (MBE)

  • independent of age

Migration counselling for adult immigrants is a federal program and aims at the social, social and professional integration of new immigrants. It starts after the first attainment of a safe residence status or upon entry into Germany and takes place as long as there is a special need for integration. During this time, we promote the resources of our seekers, are their contacts and empower them to act as independently as possible in many situations. The age group includes adults aged 27 and over and their family members.

We advise on the following contents:

  • Right of residence, family reunification, naturalisation, etc.
  • Integration and German courses
  • Kindergarten, school and professional issues
  • social benefits, e.g. ALG II, housing benefit, child benefit/surcharge, pension
  • Housing problems
  • Health, family and personal issues
